So adorable, I just can't handle it (no, I'm not bias at all)! :) She just looks like she is smiling all the time!

2 weeks old already??

Already 2 weeks old, and loving every minute - she is still doing wonderful, she has gone up to 8 hrs straight at night - amazing (okay, so I used to think people were lying that said this), she's gaining about an ounce a day, she's already beyond her birthweight. I love her little faces she makes when she sleeps, her little squeeks, changing her teeny tiny diapers and just snuggling her all warm and cozy. Thank you God for this opportunity and blessing.

Okay, I think the picture should be titled "pink overload", I seriously think the camera got confused because of all the pink!!! I can't believe nadia is already a week old, I don't even want to admit it! I'm trying to cherish every moment, every smile, every snuggle and make it last as long as we can. I feel like this time I am enjoying it so much more, maybe because I'm not up every 2 hrs nursing, maybe because I know it's our last, maybe it's because I have such an awesome, helpful husband, or maybe just because she is the perfect baby. :) We are so loving having daddy home, we wish that could last forever.

Coming Home

Sunday after church all my boys came picked us up at the hospital and brought us home - and it was just our family, all five of us!

special delivery . . .

We welcomed Nadia Katherine Young into this world thursday night, 4.7.2011 at 9:59pm, weighing 8 lb 0 oz and 20.5 inches long. So far she is a great eater and a wonderful sleeper. God has blessed us, answering our prayers yet again with a healthy child. God is so good, all the time.

WAITING . . . .

It is my due date today, and still no baby. Kobe talks to her every night, he grabs my belly and says "come out little sister so we can meet you". Brennan also hugs my belly and giggles and talks to his sister.

We are ready and waiting little girl young, we can't wait to meet you. Please come out soon, we love you so much already.

Spring Break 2011

Lots of fun with the boys on their spring break this past week including Rainforest Cafe, a hike to see their fort in the woods, meeting a neighbor at Edinborough Park, trip to rochester, meeting a friend at MN Zoo, and lots of book reading, puzzle making, and cookie baking. It was so nice to have a few last special days with the boys before their baby sister comes.
