Brennan 2 on Father's day

Yes, daddy had to share Fathers day this year - not so rough to share it with your little baby who has turned 2 already! We had fun, went to church (yes, the mean mommy let him cry at sunday school), then we headed to a neat park called chutes and ladders, at the hyland park reserve. It was beautiful and a lot of fun for the boys. We had a picnic, and hung out awhile by the lake. Nothing better than playing in dirt/sand for boys. Then we came home and had cupcakes and presents - brennan absolutely loved his crib pillow as you can see in the pic, and his little barn set. Happy birthday to my little Brennan.

Brennan's 2 Party

OH, what fun! We had brennan's 2nd birthday party on saturday. He had such a blast! Mommy made him a firetruck cake, so his sirens were going all day! He also really got into the presents this year - he was so excited, he knew exactly what to do, except when it came to containing his excitement over all the new toys! Thank you everyone for making his day special.

TWINS game #2

Kobe got to go to his second twins game last week!  Daddy got 6 free tickets, so we were able to all go, plus take along our friends Seth, Jenni, and Abby.  It was a lot of fun.  Probably more chatting than game watching!  For the 4 year olds it was definitely more about the food/snacks than anything else, as expected!  Kobe's favorite player is Joe Mauer (I'm sure that has NOTHING to do with his auntie shewie).  Thanks for the good pics jenni, and for joining us in a fun night!

great greats on the lake

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at my great aunt and uncles house on Lake marion in Perham, Mn last weekend. Yes, that would make them Kobe and Brennan's GREAT GREAT aunt and uncle. They are in their eighties, but have been blessed with great health for their age - God has taken good care of them as they have devoted their life to him. We had so much fun, this was the first trip there since we had the boys, and it was so much more fun with the kids! They also had 2 boys, so they knew exactly what things they enjoyed - pontoon rides, roasting hot dogs over the fire, chasing huge snapping turtles through their lawn, getting dirty in the sand, etc. We even were priviledged to partake in their first outdoor service this year with their new church they are trying to grow (even though their pastor is in Iraq, he joined the service via web cam). May God continue to bless them in their health and help develop their church.

Possibly comfortable???

How can this possibly be comfortable??  That's my little sleeper man - I think he slept til 9am this morning.  Yes, over 12 hrs, and he'll still take a 3 hour nap!  He didn't even wake up when I took these pics.  Gotta love a sleeper!  :) 

A new baby??

This is baby Jett - we are so excited (kobe and I) to start taking care of him 5 days a week starting the end of July!!  I'm sure there will be more pics to come now that I've gotten mommie's permission!!  We get to watch him on thursday for a couple hours - I just love them tiny!!!

Laundry fun???

With little guys, even laundry can be fun . . .

We are definitely missing the structure of school, but we've been pretty crazy busy so far, with playdates, zoo, my uncle visiting, camping, babysitting, etc.  Looking at our calendar, our next open weekend is in august - so I think we'll have to work hard to keep the summer from flying by!  Hope you are all enjoy the wonderfulness of warm weather as much as we are!
