Sleepless

After many sleepless nights, we finally know why. Nadia's first tooth popped through yesterday, and last night she finally went back to her 8 hrs of sleep vs waking every 2 hrs. whew. only twenty-how many more to go aunt shewie?

12 boys . . .

. . . that would be Kobe's "school friends" party. Okay, so I'm counting brennan and troy, but regardless, it was a lot of boys. Kobe invited all the boys in his class for a Lego Party last friday night, and everyone came. After a lego treasure hunt and eating a few legos, we all were exhausted.

7 year old ??

We have a 7 year old in the house! Wow, does that seem old. Course that means I'm old, so never mind. Kobe had his family party on saturday (complete with a skateboard cake and him picking the menu), and he'll have the boys in his class over in a couple days for a lego birthday party. More on that to come.

Brennan's first day

Brennan had his first day of 4 year old preschool today, so he will be going monday/wednesday/friday now. We are all glad to be back in a routine, and Brennan is so proud to be a big boy. Brrr, what a chilly day - wasn't his picture last year shorts and a tshirt?

5 months old

Today our baby girl is 5 months old. I am still loving every minute, I just can't get enough of her. She is such a blessing. Nadia loves to be up and a part of everything we do. She puts everything in her mouth now, including sucking on her toes (so cute), she grabs at everything near her, rolls all over the floor, looks for the toys she drops, and her favorite place is on mommy's hip. Just pulled out her new "office" today, and she thinks she's pretty cool in it (as seen above). Luv U baby girl. Good night, sleep tight.

First grader

Mr Kobe is in first grade this year - all day, every day. Kobe is so excited to play on their new playground, and he got 5 new students in his class! We are all happy to be back in a routine, and brennan is loving his mommy time.

Vacation 2011 lonn/lucy's

Wow, where does the time go - 2 weeks ago already, we headed up north to troy's aunt and uncle's home on the lake, whom opened their home, and their whole vacation week to us for the second year in a row. Once again, we had a blast, and it couldn't have been more perfect with having a baby to tend to, and the privacy of our own little cabin. The boys had so much fun, swimming, boating, fishing, waterbiking, go cart riding, gator driving, collecting acorns, water tubing behind the boat, and the list goes on! Thank you lonn and lucy - you are such generous, laid back, wonderful people.
