Today Kobe helped out since Nadia was crying and gave her a book - it actually worked, she stopped crying, and the book stayed on, even though the swing was in full motion! Amazing.

Brennan is 4?

My baby boy is 4. We had Brennan's "zoo" party on saturday. Thank you everyone for coming, brennan was so excited that he got to open the door for everyone, it was his special day. Then on tuesday, his real birthday, daddy met us for lunch at BK and then we had birthday sundays after his birthday supper which he requested "breakfast" - pancakes, eggs, bacon and fruit. Happy birthday bren, mommy and daddy luv our little boy.

Pastor Bill talked about "simplify" one sunday in church. Appreciate the little things, the things God puts all around us - on the way home this is what we saw in the field as we drove by.

Oh my goodness, isn't she the most adorable thing ever?? Nadia had her 2 month check up yesterday - she weighs 10lb 13 oz and is 23 inches long - growing perfectly, and got a clean bill of health from dr mcwilliams. God is good.

Can clothes be an antique?? If so, this sleeper is one, it is 40 years old, worn by my oldest sisser, and the most amazing part is that the zipper still works perfectly!!

2 months old

Wow, nadia is 2 months old today. It seems like she has been part of our family forever. I still do look down at her every once in awhile, and need to pinch myself that we are so blessed to have another beautiful healthy little blessing, thank you Lord for this opportunity. I keep thinking this is my favorite stage and then she does something even cuter. She's totally found her hands, starting to chew on them, touch them together, grab my shirt when she's feeding (my fav) and realize when she hits something with them on her jungle gym. She is smiling and cooing more and more. She's sleeping through the night consistently now, even at auntie shewie's house! She's moved up to size 3-6mo clothes, and thursday we'll find out how much she weighs and how long she's grown, along with a visit with her Godmother. Good night, sleep tight little baby girl, mama loves you.

Here's the kickoff to Nadia's 30+ summer outfits (and that's just between new ones and a few I picked out from victoria). Just kidding, I won't blog pictures of them all, just half! hehe!!

Legos.Legos.Legos

Kobe is constantly building things with legos, he sees something (mostly machinery), and he comes home and builds it with no instructions, we've had logger trucks, sweeper trucks, rollers, tractors, etc. Some of the things are unbelievable! The picture above is our church at easter, with the drummer, the guitar with a holder, the grand piano, the keyboard, and the altar (with the wine glass of course) in the front, and people at each instrument. Pretty impressive for a 6 year old when most of these legos are ages 6 to 12. We may just have a future engineer on our hands!!

K5 Graduation

Da, da-da-da, da, da . . .

My little boy has graduated, okay, just from kindergarten, but still! The ceremony was so cute, they showed us some of what they learned, and Kobe got the math award, for being so good with numbers! We are so proud.

Memorial Day picnic

Nadia's first picnic, and a very beautiful evening at Cleary Lake park. It's the simple things in life that are the most wonderful.

Forts . . .

Forts are a big deal in a house with boys. It is so fun to see how different boys are, since we had all girls in my family. This was Kobe's masterpiece, and boy was he proud!! Auntie Cathi, please show this to "big" noah - kobe thought he would be impressed! It does become a problem though when you can't get to the front door, and it takes 3 hours to put all the stuff away! whew!
